God Sees the Women the World Overlooks

 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18

In many parts of the world, women follow Jesus quietly — not because their faith is weak, but because the cost of open faith is high. In Central Asia, women who choose to follow Christ often face rejection, isolation, domestic pressure, and deep emotional wounds that few ever see. 

But God sees them.

And He has called His Church to see them too.

Why Our Women’s Ministry Is Crucial

Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s words when He spoke in the Temple:  

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted.”

— Isaiah 61:1–3

In Uzbekistan, it’s difficult and risky for women to seek help safely. Cultural expectations, religious pressure, and fear of retaliation mean that many suffer in silence — especially those who have chosen to follow Christ.

Our Uzbekistan women’s ministry outreach exists because:

   •Women need safe, trusted, biblical care

   •Women need women to minister to them

   •Healing must happen at the heart level, not just on the surface

This ministry outreach is more than a program.

It is a refuge.

A spiritual hospital.

A place where the Gospel is applied gently, patiently, and powerfully. 

This work does not happen without resistance.

There is pressure. Opposition. Misunderstanding. Spiritual warfare.

And yet, the women continue — praying, serving, healing, discipling — because Christ is worthy, and His call is clear.

Peter’s reminder to the early church is more than ancient rhetoric to these believers:

“After you have suffered a little while, [God] will Himself restore you and make you strong.” — 1 Peter 5:10

These are words they cling to — daily!

Why Your Partnership Matters Now

“Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”

— Philippians 1:5

The word partnership often seems overused.

However, Paul’s expression of gratitude for the Philippian church’s partnership is far more than a casual acknowledgement. It is a heartfelt recognition of the impact of their prayers and support in bringing the Good News of the gospel to others.

•Train and disciple new women leaders

•Reach women who would otherwise remain unseen
