Thank you for Standing with Us in This Season
Dear Friend,
Philippians 4:10-19 has been especially meaningful as I’ve reflected on God’s goodness this past year. Paul’s words have helped me see the Lord’s hand in my own journey. Let me explain.
On June 5th, after nearly twenty years of serving in a ministry I deeply loved, I was released from my position due to a new direction within the organization.
The transition was disorienting and left me wondering whether this was the time to retire or to continue serving pastors, leaders, and learners — the work God has shaped in me over the decades.
After much prayer, counsel, and reflection, I sensed the Lord inviting me to continue. We stepped out in faith and applied for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status—and in September 2025, we received approval. This felt like a significant confirmation of God’s provision, but what has happened since has encouraged me even more deeply.
Many of you have reached out with prayers, encouragement, and financial support. To say I have been overwhelmed would not be an exaggeration.
In a moment of uncertainty—my own personal “quandary”—your kindness has given me assurance, clarity, and renewed confidence to move forward in the ministry God has entrusted to us.
As I reflected on Paul’s letter to the Philippians, I was reminded that, while confined and unsure of his future, Paul received gifts from the Philippian believers through Epaphroditus. Their generosity strengthened him and assured him of God’s presence in his uncertainty.
While I am certainly not in Paul’s situation, I have felt the weight of transition. And like Paul, I have been deeply encouraged by the faithful support of friends who have chosen to stand with me.
As we look toward 2026, I am excited—and expectant—for the work ahead.
Our mission remains clear: to attend to the soul care of pastors, leaders, and learners, offering companionship, encouragement, and spiritual formation resources to those who pour themselves out for others.
Your ongoing participation in this shared mission makes this ministry possible.
Every prayer offered, every note you send, and every gift you share is a tangible expression of God’s care–demonstrated through you–and I am profoundly grateful.
As we step into the new year, I invite you to continue praying with me:
- Pray for our pastors, leaders, and congregations in Uzbekistan, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, and Russia who faithfully and sacrificially serve others in Jesus’ Name.
- Pray for our pastors, leaders, and congregations we serve locally, that God will replenish and sustain them.
- Pray for our ministry outreach to the women in Uzbekistan who often suffer abuse and desperately need care.
- Pray that others will join us as RPM Ministries continues to reach, proclaim, and mentor pastors, leaders, and learners.
I am grateful beyond words for you. May the JOY of the Christmas season remain with you as we enter the new year.
Richard Parrish
P.S. Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers and friendship mean more than you know. I look forward to sharing updates in the new year as we walk this journey together.
